The Nolan Arenado trade is many things: It symbolizes a franchise nadir for the Rockies, it has broken a fanbase, it is potentially franchise-killing, and it was completely inevitable. The impasse between Arenado and Rockies management has been slowly growing over the past few years and push finally came to shove.
