It’s very hard to dig yourself out from rock bottom in the NBA. Just ask the Detroit Pistons, who have only made the playoffs twice since 2009, and got swept in the first round both times. They’ve more or less been stuck in the Eastern Conference cellar for a decade-and-a-half with flattened lottery odds, but
