Sofia Kenin vs Ons Jabeur Full Match | US Open 2020 Round 3

In January 2020 Sofia Kenin downed Ons Jabeur in the quarterfinals of the Australian Open, where she went on to become the youngest American woman to win a major in nearly two decades.

Once again she finds herself facing Jabeur, now a good friend, in the Louis Armstrong Stadium, this time in the third round of the US Open. The No. 2-seeded Kenin, 21, hopes history will repeat itself in New York but the Tunisian might have other plans.

Jabeur, an all-court scrambler who has reached the quarterfinals in four of the seven previous events she’s entered in 2020, will be looking to take advantage of her opponent’s errors to continue her strong form.

Their rivalry dates back to 2016 with Kenin 5-1 up coming into this match but will Jabeur be able to turn the tide?
