It’s being reported today that the Dallas Mavericks are trying to acquire Bulls’ sharpshooting big man Lauri Markkanen via sing and trade. This would be a move that improves Dallas offensively and shooting, but does have some clear defensive concerns. I’m okay with a deal centered around a pick and role Trey Burke, but giving up their best defender in Dorian Finney-Smith would be dumb. The Mavs are trying to upgrade their roster around Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis. Let me know what you think of this potenital move!
