Who will make the final playoff spot? That is the big question and Ian is living with the agony. His beloved Oxford United travel to Shrewsbury. The U’s have happy memories of playing the Shrews. Last 2 seasons have ended 3-2 to the yellows and only a few games ago Oxford won 4-1 at the Kassam. Portsmouth are having a really tough time of it. Their fans must be going crazy. They had a rollercoaster of a game with Accrington and won’t get an easy ride against AFC Wimbledon who are on a fine run of form. Charlton Athletic are the third side in the mix. The Addicks, like Pompey conceded late and drew their last game against Crewe. They face Accrington away who are never to be taken lightly… just ask Portsmouth and Oxford. Elsewhere it seems that Hull are all but going to win the league, Peterborough United just can’t keep the pressure on them, and it could all be done and dusted if Hull beat Wigan and Posh fail to beat Lincoln City. The only other question mark is in the relegation zone. Rochdale will be kicking themselves for conceding a 96th minute equalizer against AFC Wimbledon, but them and Northampton are in must win territory now and they need Wigan & Wimbledon to both lose to take it to the final day.
