The Clippers had about as good an offseason as you could have for a team that missed the postseason. Thirteen of the 15 Clippers who ended last season on a standard contract are set to return, and that includes keeping two players (Robert Covington, Ivica Zubac) off the market and re-signing two more (Nicolas Batum, Amir Coffey). The team will miss Isaiah Hartenstein, but they’re better with John Wall to balance the roster out. Most importantly, they have two stars who are healthier now than they were six months ago in Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. — Law Murray
