No. 5 UCLA sinks the No. 3 Buff’s win streak
UCLA got back into the win column Friday night when the No. 5 Bruins knocked off No. 3 Colorado, 76-68, and snapped the Buffaloes’ nine-game winning streak.
UCLA (15-1) and Colorado (15-2) struggled for separation for the majority of the night. The game was tied at 60 with just under five minutes to go in the final quarter.
But Charisma Osborne and Lauren Betts helped put the Buffs away with timely layups and clutch free-throw shooting.
Osborne scored a game-high 22 points. Betts and Angela Dugalic finished with double-doubles. Betts scored 20 and pulled down 12 rebounds while Dugalic finished with 11 points and 13 boards.

UCLA returns to action on Monday when it travels to No. 20 Utah. Colorado looks to bounce back at home this Sunday against Southern Cal.
No. 20 Utah dominates No. 6 Southern Cal by a 20-point margin
The second top-10 upset of the night began to materialize in Salt Lake City as the Utes made a 10-point leap in the second quarter to take a firm lead over the No. 5 Trojans. From there, the Utes maintained the lead for the remainder of play. Senior Alissa Pili led the charge with 37 points, tying her career-high and helping the squad achieve the highest margin of victory over a top-10 opponent in school history. The 78-58 win also marks the first ranked win for the Utes this season, and their largest margin of victory over a top-10 opponent in program history.

Utah outperformed Southern Cal in almost every facet: shooting percentage from the field (44.1- 36.1 percent), free throws (72.7-50 percent), three pointers (32.3-28 percent), rebounds (43-3), assists (19-6) and points off the bench (16-6).
The Utes improve to 13-5 on the season while the Trojans drop to 13-2. Each team returns to action this weekend playing UCLA and Colorado, respectively.
