There are plenty of messy situations in baseball right now, but few are as smoldering and as calamitous as the Arizona Diamondbacks have gone through over the past few months. It may be starting to get a little better, but since early May, the team has gone 5-40. They’ve set records for ineptitude. They were on a loss pace that would’ve come close to the 1962 New York Mets. Everything has fallen apart and they are staring in the face of a long and arduous rebuild.
But we all know it didn’t just start with the collapse. This sort of thing is always usually years in the making. In this video, we hope to find the sources of this collapse… and probably fail at it. Just like the lack of vision the Diamondbacks have had over the past few years.
