This is a long one, sorry. The Seattle Kraken expansion draft of 2021 is just a couple months away, and the last Kraken-less NHL season is over and playoffs have begun! That means it is time to look at who teams might protect and who will be available for the Seattle Kraken to take in the expansion draft. The New Jersey Devils may not be the best team in the NHL… in fact they finished 29th. However that doesn’t mean they don’t have anyone good to offer Seattle. Maybe surprisingly they actually are one of the more interesting teams in the expansion draft, with a number of younger player options with bright futures.
This is all speculation at this point so I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!
