Seattle Kraken Expansion Draft 2021: Who the Florida Panthers Could Lose

The Seattle Kraken expansion draft of 2021 is just a couple months away, and the last Kraken-less NHL season has pasted the halfway point! That means it is time to start looking at who teams might protect and who will be available for the Seattle Kraken to take in the expansion draft. There is still an NHL season (or some of one) between now and then so a lot could change but I just can’t wait any longer!

The Florida Panthers have had an amazing 2021 season! That is also good news for the Seattle Kraken as it caused Florida to buy at the trade deadline which now provides a number of interesting options come the expansion draft. You may notice I did not mention Radko Gudas, who could also be an option here, but the amount of good younger talent on this team to me makes him a less likely pick.
