The big game Sunday night is the third installment of Dallas vs. Seattle, a season series that the Storm lead 2-0 with two thrilling overtime wins. On Friday night Jewell Loyd provided the buzzer-beating, game-winning three in the second of those games.

The two teams will square off at 7 p.m. ET.

Seattle is now 7-1 and recently earned the top spot in Swish Appeal’s power rankings. The Wings are 2-5 with five single-digit losses. The Storm are looking to gain a half-game edge over the idle Connecticut Sun for first place in the WNBA. Dallas on the other hand would move into eighth place with a win and a Lynx loss. The Wings were seventh in our power rankings, but the Los Angeles Sparks, who were No. 11, have since improved to 4-3 and Dallas’ record is becoming more and more concerning even though they are playing teams close.

Also at 7 p.m. ET, the Lynx host the Atlanta Dream in another rematch of a closely contested Friday night game. Minnesota won by two points thanks to Napheesa Collier free throws with 1.5 seconds remaining.

The Lynx have now won two in a row after staring 0-4 and, with Cheryl Reeve at the helm, you know excellence will be demanded. They could easily extend this winning streak to three and then maybe four, which would get them back to .500. The Dream will try to spoil those plans, though, as they look to live up to their No. 5 placement in our power rankings and avoid falling to .500.

Game Information

Atlanta Dream (4-3) vs. Minnesota Lynx (2-4)

When: Sunday, June 6 at 7 p.m. ET

Where: Target Center in Minneapolis, MN

How to watch: Bally Sports North or Bally Sports SE-ATL or TSN3

Key to the matchup: Sylvia Fowles. The Lynx tried to establish her early and often on Friday against the Dream but she finished with just eight points. Napheesa Collier is now the best player on the team and showed she can put a team on her back. Minnesota also got key contributions from Kayla McBride, Layshia Clarendon and Crystal Dangerfield. A big night from Sylvia Fowles too on Sunday could make it a blowout. Expect the Lynx to try to establish her again.

Dream injury report: Chennedy Carter (doubtful; elbow)

Lynx injury report: Damiris Dantas (questionable; back), Rennia Davis (out; foot), Aerial Powers (out; hamstring)

Dallas Wings (2-5) vs. Seattle Storm (7-1)

When: Sunday, June 6 at 7 p.m. ET

Where: Angel of the Wings Arena in Everett, WA

How to watch: JoeTV

Key to the matchup: Marike. The Wings are 0-5 when Marina Mabrey and Arike Ogunbowale both score 20 or more points and 0-2 when they both score less than 20. At some point that is going to change and the duo is going to have a big night that actually leads to a win. Maybe Sunday will be the night. In Dallas’ first game against Seattle the pair was particularly good with 54 combined points and the Wings barely lost in overtime.

Wings injury report: Kayla Thornton (day-to-day; knee)

Storm injury report: Mikiah Herbert Harrigan (out for season; personal)
