Alabama, LSU, and Washington led the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft with three picks apiece.

Alabama and LSU were part of a first round in which the SEC had 11 first-round picks.

This will be Alabama’s final draft class under legendary coach Nick Saban, and the Crimson Tide made it a memorable night by adding to Saban’s record-breaking resume. Tennessee took JC Latham at No. 7, Minnesota traded up for edge rusher Dallas Turner at No. 17, and Detroit took Terrion Arnold at No. 17.

LSU’s first-round haul was led by Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels at No. 2. Receiver Malik Nabers was selected at No. 6, and Jacksonville took receiver Brian Thomas at No. 23.

Washington joined the SEC rivals with three top-20 picks. Michael Penix Jr. was selected at No. 8 by Atlanta, Chicago picked Rome Odunze at No. 9, and Pittsburgh selected tackle Troy Fautanu at No. 20.

Michigan only had one first-round pick in No.10 J.J. McCarthy, but the Wolverines are expected to have several players drafted on Day 2 and Day 3. It is possible the Wolverines could break the record of 15, which was set by Georgia in 2022

Last year, Georgia and Alabama tied for the most players with 10 players each. Who will have the most players selected in 2024? Here’s a closer look at the NFL Draft by college and by conference:
