An injury to Stephen Curry comes at a rough time for the Warriors.
Golden State opened the 2023-24 season strong by winning five of its first six games, but it has gone 1-4 since, a stretch that includes three straight losses. The Warriors will look to snap that streak on Tuesday without Curry, who is out against the Timberwolves with a knee injury.
Curry is averaging 30.7 points through 11 games. Not only has he been Golden State’s leading scorer in each game so far, but he’s one of only two players on the team to crack 20 points in a game this season.

What is Stephen Curry’s injury?
The Warriors originally listed Curry as questionable for Tuesday’s matchup with the Timberwolves with right knee soreness. He was later ruled out.
As noted by ESPN’s Kendra Andrews, Curry took a hard fall in the second half of Sunday’s loss to the Timberwolves. He remained in the game but was seen rubbing his knee.
Curry played 36 minutes in that game, finishing with 38 points, five rebounds and three assists.
How long will Stephen Curry be out?
It’s currently unknown if Curry will miss more than one game with the injury.
The Warriors are two games into a five-game homestand. Their next road game is on Nov. 22 when they travel to Phoenix to face the Suns.
