The Penguins continued along their 5-game road trip as they took on the Vancouver Canucks in a Friday night matchup. Vancouver jumped out to a 2-0 lead on the Penguins early into the second period of play. Rickard Rakell got Pittsburgh on the board later in the second, to make it a 2-1 game. The Penguins hoped to carry that momentum into the third but they couldn’t quite find their rhythm. Vancouver would go on to score 3 times, winning in runaway fashion by a score of 5-1.
