Ex- Lakers head coach Frank Vogel could be joining the Mavericks’ coaching staff if he doesn’t land the Phoenix Suns head coaching job. According to NBA Insider Marc Stein, the Mavericks are not interested in a Kyrie Irving for D’Angelo Russell sign & trade. The Mavericks do not have to help other teams sign Kyrie Irving in 2023 NBA Free agency, and can offer him the most money of any team. Should Kyrie want to go elsewhere, he would have to sign less than a max contract.
