In the first two minutes of the game the Bruins took an early 2-point lead, with goals from Frederic and Haula. In the second period Danton Heinen found the back of the net for the Penguins. This was Heinen’s 17th goal of the season, which is a career high for him. The last period of the game was scoreless. Although Casey DeSmith was able to keep the puck out for the last two periods, the Penguins were not able to pull ahead, ending the game with a score of 2-1.
