In case you missed it, Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua’s older brother Samson Nacua was signed by the New Orleans Saints this week.

Like Puka, Samson is also a wide receiver. He was an undrafted free agent in 2022 signed by the Indianapolis Colts.  Samson played in a preseason game but did not make the final roster, Since then, he has kept his dreams of playing professional football alive with stints in the USFL and the United Football League

Should Samson make the Saints’ 53-man-roster, the two brothers could meet on December 1 when the Saints host the Los Angeles Rams.

Puka, 23, and Samson, 26, are part of the five-brother Nacua dynasty.

Isaiah Nacua, 28, played defensive end at BYU. Eldest brother, Kai Nacua, 29, is a safety playing for the UFL’s Michigan Panthers; he bounced around several NFL teams including the Cleveland Browns (2017), Indianapolis Colts (2019), San Francisco 49ers (2020-2021), and the New York Jets (2021-2022) in addition to being a practice squad player for the Baltimore Ravens (2018) and Carolina Panthers (2018-2019).  He has played in 21 career games, 16 with the Browns and 5 with the 49ers.

The youngest brother, Tei Nacua, is slated to begin his BYU career in Fall 2024 as a wide receiver.
