A former world number 7, the only Belgian player to ever be inside the top 10 of the ATP rankings and therefore the best to ever do it from that country, David Goffin used to be one of the most consistent players on tour. It is a name that we were used to seeing in the later stages of the most important tournaments very often, for a long period of time. However, that has not been the case during the last few years. Unlucky with injuries and unable to display his best level of tennis, things have been tricky for him lately.
