After Anthony Edwards tied the game with 3.7 seconds remaining, Ja Morant made a driving layup with 1.0 second remaining in regulation to lift the No. 2 seed Memphis Grizzlies over the No. 7 seed Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 5, 111-109. Morant finished with 30 PTS (18 in the 4th quarter), 9 AST and a Playoff career-high 13 REB for the Grizzlies, while Desmond Bane added 25 PTS in the victory. Karl-Anthony Towns (28 PTS, 12 REB) and Anthony Edwards (22 PTS) combined for 50 PTS for the Timberwolves. The Grizzlies lead this best-of-seven First Round series 3-2, with Game 6 taking place on Friday, April 29.
