The betting favorite this week at the Valspar Championship isn’t the world No. 1, and it isn’t the two-time defending champ. Instead, this week at Innisbrook everyone will be looking to chase down Justin Thomas.

The Copperhead Course plays host to the fifth and final Florida event on the PGA Tour calendar this year, as the Valspar moves from its previous mid-March date to the final week of April. A strong field will tee it up on one of the more underrated venues on Tour, as Dustin Johnson returns after a near-miss in 2019 and Paul Casey looks to lift the paintbrush trophy for the third time in a row.

But it’s Thomas, a winner earlier this year in Florida at TPC Sawgrass, who will begin the week as the betting favorite. Oddsmakers at PointsBet Sportsbook opened him at +800 as he makes his first appearance near Tampa since a missed cut in 2017. Johnson is next on the board at +1000, followed by two-time runner-up Patrick Reed, while Casey headlines the duo at +2000.

Here’s a look at the other notable odds this week at Innisbrook, as players head to a bastion of ball-striking with the PGA Championship now just three weeks away:
