Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is reportedly not planning to retire from the NFL.
In the wake of his Thursday night concussion in the Week 2 game against the Buffalo Bills, the third of his NFL career, some NFL analysts thought he should and would call it a career.
Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel discouraged the retirement talk on Friday, pleading with people to allow Tua to make his own career decision.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport is hearing from his sources that that decision by Tua appears to NOT include an immediate retirement from the game. Tua is seeing a concussion specialist.

There is no timeline for his return. The Dolphins have committed to Skylar Thompson being the QB1 in the interim. Tua will return when doctors determine that he is ready.
