Brazilian giants Palmeiras, and Orlando City have reportedly ‘agreed on terms’ over a deal involving Orlando star Facundo Torres.

The transfer is pending personal terms being finalized between the Uruguayan and Palmeiras, but the clubs have ‘reached a full agreement’, according to MLS insider Tom Bogert.

The 24-year-old has 37 goals and 20 assists in 95 regular season games with Orlando, and is largely considered one Major League Soccer’s brightest stars.

Torres was the key catalyst to Orlando’s run to the Eastern Conference Final this season, where his side fell to the New York Red Bulls.

The deal will reportedly be a new club-record sale for Orlando, topping the outgoing transfer of Daryl Dike to West Brom in 2022 for $9.5M.
