Ohio State football is back in the hunt for one of the prized recruits in the class of 2026. Jared Curtis is a four-star prospect from the state of Tennessee and has recently announced his decommitment from the Georgia Bulldogs. The consensus top ten player in the country is currently a junior at Nashville Christian School and threw for 2,522 yards ad 25 touchdowns as a sophomore last season.
Curtis announced his commitment to Georgia in March, but his decommitment opens the door for other schools that were originally in the hunt for his services such as the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Buckeyes. Standing at 6-foot, 4-inches and 225 pounds, it is easy to see why most coaches view him as a prototypical quarterback.
The Mr. Football runner-up is only helping his recruiting ranking as his team is currently sitting at a 6-1 record. OSU has Tavien St. Clair committed for the 2025 class, but adding a gunslinger in the 2026 class is still a priority.
