Mexico cruised into the Gold Cup semifinals on Saturday with a convincing 3-0 win over Honduras in the quarterfinals, scoring all their goals in the first half. El Tri have yet to concede a goal in the tournament, recording their fourth straight clean sheet while overpowering the Catrachos, who rarely looked like a threat.

With Tata Martino looking to earn hardware after losing the CONCACAF Nations League final against the United States in June, Mexico continued to look like the sharpest team in the tournament, creating chance after chance and demonstrating a bit more confidence in front of the goal. With the win, they’ll face either Costa Rica or Canada in the semifinals.

This match was essentially over in the first half when Mexico scored three goals in 13 minutes. Argentina-born Rogelio Funes Mori got the winner 26 minutes in, but it was Jonathan Dos Santos’ ridiculous strike to make it 2-0 just moments later that stole the show. Take a look at the Los Angeles Galaxy star’s effort:

Orbelin Pineda got the third with a fierce header in the 38th minute, and Honduras never looked like they’d pull within two goals, let alone get back into the match. El Tri have now made the Gold Cup semifinals eight straight times and will be the heavy favorites in the semifinal round, which takes place on Thursday.

The other semifinal will be invitee Qatar against the winner of Sunday’s match between the United States and Jamaica.
