Man United facing Pogba pressure
Firstly comes an update on Paul Pogba, who currently has just under 12 months remaining on his current contract.
Reports emerged in early June that Man United would seek talks with Pogba over fears he would run down said deal and leave for free.
It was then suggested earlier this month that United had agreed on a 51m pound price tag for Poggba, with the same report also mentioning interest from PSG.
Now, a fresh update on the situation has been forthcoming courtesy of the Daily Mail.
The Mail report that Man United are under pressure to sell Pogba in this summer’s window amid strong interest from PSG.
Mino Raiola, Pogba’s agent, is believed to be discussing personal terms with the French outfit, who are understood to believe they could sign Pogba for less than half of the 89m pounds paid for him by the Manchester outfit.
Goretzka offer made
Whilst Pogba may be on his way out, United do look to be eyeing up some fresh legs in midfield.
Leon Goretzka currently has less than a year left to run on his Bayern Munich deal, and did find himself linked with Man United of late.
Now, reports stemming from Germany claim that United have submitted a contract offer to the midfielder for the end of the season, meaning he would join on a free next year.
Man Utd have submitted a contract offer to Leon Goretzka for the end of the season, according to Sport Bild. His current Bayern Munich contract expires in 2022 and he has history, running down his Schalke contract to join Bayern. #MUFC #FCBayern
