With Wisconsin quarterback Tyler Van Dyke lost for the season due to a knee injury, its likely that Braedyn Locke will continue to take the majority of snaps under center for the Badgers.

But what about the next man listed on the depth chart? Who is QB2 now?

True freshman Mabrey Mettauer has suddenly been thrust into the backup role. In addition to a decorated statistical high school career in Texas, Mettauer also already has the Big Man On Campus looks sometimes associated with the position.

He hasn’t played a college game yet, but he’s already doing commercials.

But Mettauer’s learning curve as far as running UW’s offense is also now much more visible.
