Baseball players get a chance to show of some of their individuality with their walk-up song choice. Some take that more serious than others.

Savannah Bananas infielder Josh Lavender takes it seriously, and he recently took his walk-up routine to new heights.

During Thursday’s game, Lavender walked up to the plate and mocked an incredible golf routine. Lavender had a caddie carrying an actual set of golf clubs in a bag, which also included his baseball bat. Then he stepped up to the plate:

Lavender also broke out a range finder and a yardage book for good measure. Oh, and if it wasn’t already awesome enough, the Bananas infielder also used the Masters theme song as his walk-up music while the hilarity unfolded.

The Bananas are a wood-bat collegiate summer league team that plays in the Coastal Plain League. The team has been known for entertaining their fans with some hilarious stunts during games in the past. Lavender clearly put a ton of thought into this routine and the team spared no expense to get just about every golf accessory imaginable.

The Bananas are quite popular, as they have sold out every home game since 2016. With hilarious entertainment like Lavender provided, that’s not exactly surprising.
