The recruiting dead period has been lifted, and we saw the gates open wide for a slew of current commits and other prospects to visit Columbus and the Ohio State University campus over the weekend.
All reviews out of the weekend seem to point to the visits going extremely well. In fact, we saw a number of the prospects and current commits tell the world how everything went on Twitter.
A couple of current commitments for the 2022 recruiting class have done a little more than hint at some more big news coming after the weekend. Both linebacker C.J. Hicks and wide receiver Caleb Burton believe there will be some more welcomed to the Buckeye family after all the fun this weekend.

Ohio State puts on a show better than almost every other program out there when it gets kids on campus. The program has been waiting to show some of the best prospects in the country what the city of Columbus, the OSU campus and the program as a whole have to offer.
It’s not hard not to believe that we’ll see some commitments coming very soon as a result of this past weekend and through the rest of June. As any news develops, we’ll of course have it for you right here at Buckeyes Wire.
