The 21-9-1 Winnipeg Jets will host the 11-15-3 Montreal Canadiens from Canada Life Centre on Hockey Night in Canada on Saturday night.

Coming off a 3-2 overtime loss to the Vegas Golden Knights on Thursday evening, the Jets will look to bounce back against a team that was lit up 9-2 by the up-and-down Pittsburgh Penguins on the same night.

Forward Patrik Laine returns to Winnipeg for the first time with Montreal, after spending considerable time with Columbus and most recently away from the team in the NHL’s Player Assistance Program. Laine returned to the Habs’ lineup a week ago after missing the first quarter of the season with a leg injury.

The Jets will see a minor tweak to the lineup, with Colin Miller coming in on the back-end for Ville Heinola.

Connor Hellebuyck will get the nod in goal, while the forward groupings are expected to remain the same.
