With the culmination of the 2024 PGA Tour at the RSM Classic on November 24, all eyes will be on the 2024 Hero World Challenge hosted by golf legend Tiger Woods at the Albany Golf Course in Albany, Bahamas between 5 and 8 December.
While the PGA Tour sanctions the Hero World Challenge it doesn’t officially recognize whoever wins the tournament nor are any FedEx Cup Points awarded.
The 2024 Hero World Challenge will see a 20-man field that includes current World No.1 Scottie Scheffler, along with other top golfers like Ludwig Aberg, Patrick Cantlay, and Justin Thomas.

The Hero World Challenge will air on Golf Channel and NBC (Round 3 and Round 4) nationally.

Is Tiger Woods playing in the Hero World Challenge?
While Tiger Woods is the host for the 2024 Hero World Challenge, he will not be playing in the tournament as a part of the 20-man field.
Having won the tournament five times in his career, Woods said that he isn’t “tournament sharp” currently to participate in the Hero World Challenge and needs to train more so that he can compete next year.
