I had a strange feeling about the Lions game. I had expected the Steelers to end up winning (because, I mean, it is Detroit they’re playing), but to see a game this beautifully terrible to the eyes? It was something special. So special, in fact, that it at least rivals the Packers/Bengals Field Goal Whiff-fest earlier this season. Not sure if it matches the nine-overtime epic in Happy Valley, but it will fill us all with just as much misery and laughter.
Unless you’re a fan of either team (or a connoisseur of terrible football), this was a game you avoided at all costs. But I implore you to stop and appreciate this kind of greatness for yourself. This video is in tribute to such an enterprise. Whether that be in how ironically terrible this video is or not is to be determined.
