Dec. 17—SAN ANTONIO — The UTPB men’s basketball team defeated Central Missouri in an 83-60 victory Tuesday in the River City Holiday Classic at Northeast ISD Sports Gym.
UTPB was led in scoring by Maison Adeleye’s 29 points while Alex Matthews had 19 and Freddie Word had 14.
Central Missouri was led in scoring by Elijah Farr’s 10 points while Josh Nwankwo had nine.
The Falcons improved to 8-2 while the Mules fell to 5-5.
UTPB will next face Washburn at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
