Mercedes’ Valtteri Bottas headed Red Bull’s Max Verstappen in first practice at the Belgian Grand Prix. Ferrari have discovered that Charles Leclerc’s power-unit was “irreparably damaged” in the first-corner pile-up at the Hungarian Grand Prix.
