Big News: Gabby Williams Is Back In Seattle Storm | What You Need to Know!

What is up awesome people of the internet. I have big news for you, Gabby Williams is returning back to the @SeattleStormOfficial for tech remainder of the season.

Gabby is a dual citizen for France and America. And during the offseason she spends it in France playing in the French League. Unlike other European leagues the French league did not move up their season to accommodate the WNBA’s May 19th deadline. So it was looking like Gabby would be ineligible because Gabby’s team (LDLC ASVEL Feminin) season lasted until May 22.

So what changed to make Gaby Williams eligible. A consusion that Gaby Suffered in the French league semifinals on May 9th. After the concussion Gabby negotiated a suspension of her EuroLeague contract with French club ASVEL right before the WNBA’s opening-night prioritization deadline of May 19.

This brings us to today July 1, Gabby Williams is back in America and The Next Hoops are reporting that her signing with the Seattle Strorm is eminent.
