After Georgia’s loss to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the Sugar Bowl, former ESPN analyst David Pollack predicted that 35 players could transfer out of the UGA.

A few Bulldogs have already transferred and Georgia Bulldogs wide receiver/returner Anthony Evans III announced he’s entering the transfer portal, according to On3.

Evans joins receivers Michael Jackson and Rara Thomas in the transfer portal, but Evans earned significantly more playing time than the other two as a special teamer. He fielded kicks and punts for the Bulldogs throughout the season.

Despite playing time on special teams, he rarely earned many looks as a receiver, only racking up nine receptions and 88 yards. He showed some flashes against Mississippi State, racking up 42 receiving yards and 55 rushing yards.

Whoever ends up landing the second-year speedster will get an explosive athlete with returning experience. He has two more years of eligibility left.

Georgia, meanwhile, has been in desperate need of wide receivers from the transfer portal. The Bulldogs targeted transfers like Dane Key, CJ Daniels, and Eric Singleton. Georgia recently landed a commitment from USC receiver transfer Zachariah Branch.
