The ACC has dominated the national field hockey rankings throughout the 2024 season, and now it’s officially time to crown a conference champion at the annual postseason tournament.
After winning back-to-back national titles in 2022 and 2023, North Carolina earned the No. 1 seed in the tournament bracket. The Tar Heels are set to face California in the first round, and they are considered the heavy favorite to capture yet another trophy.
Duke, Boston College and Virginia are among the contenders looking to stop North Carolina’s run of dominance. It will all go down this week at Kentner Stadium in Winston-Salem, N.C.
