For the second day in a row, a five-star has decommitted from Georgia.
On Monday, five-star defensive tackle Bear Alexander backed off his commitment to UGA.
On Tuesday, five-star athlete Deyon Bouie did so.
Bouie posted the news to his Instagram story, with the caption:
“I am blessed and appreciative of all the offers and opportunities that Georgia has offered,” Bouie said. “However, I believe I committed too early before I could explore all my other opportunities. With that being said, I am officially decommitting from the University of Georgia.”
Bouie ranks as the nation’s No. 29 overall player and the No. 2 athlete in the class of 2022. The Bainbridge, Georgia, native visited Texas A&M with Alexander.
