A lot of talk lately has been around whether WNBA players should be paid more. And personally I think that the wrong conversation. Before you start talking about the increasing the salary of employees you need to first think about increasing the value and quality of your products. For years now basketball fans have been telling the WNBA exactly what’s wrong with the WNBA and how they can improve, but they refused to listen, Instead telling us how great of product it is. Well in my opinion it’s not. From a business perspective it’s trash. Not saying the women are trash, or unattractive, or any of that garbage. But as a consumer of the product the quality of the WNBA is just not on par. Which is why it is failing as a business. Until the WNBA address these 3 many of the obvious things wrong with their brand they will never succeed.
