The LA Galaxy have announced the signing of Columbus Crew forward Christian Ramirez for up to $500,000 in allocation money.
The American was a key member of the Crew’s 2023 MLS Cup triumph, bagging 16 goals and 10 assists across two seasons with the club.
His departure will further deplete Columbus’ attacking force after superstar forward Cucho Hernandéz left for Real Betis earlier in the window.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy had an attacking hole to fill of their after Serbian striker Dejan Joveljić made the move to Sporting KC.

“Christian brings a wealth of MLS experience and a strong track record of performance, most recently playing a crucial role in the Crew’s 2023 MLS Cup and 2024 Leagues Cup trophy campaigns. A proven MLS goal scorer and even better teammate, we hope to quickly integrate him into our group during these final weeks of preseason.”
