Orlando City have brought in their new big-money attacker after the departure of Facundo Torres for $14 million earlier this winter.

The Florida club have completed the signing of Croatian international Marco Pašalić from HNK Rijeka.

Orlando have reportedly spent $5 million to bring in the 24-year-old after Pašalić bagged six goals and three assists in 26 appearances with the Croatian club this season.

The Lions achieved their best MLS finish in club history in 2024, going out of the MLS Cup Playoffs at the Eastern Conference Final stage.

“I think it was an easy option for me to decide on,” said Pašalić.

“I want to come here to take the next step here in Orlando and come here to show what I can do.

“I play with heart and I am a fighter on the field, my left foot is my weapon, as well as my dribbling, and I hope to show that here.”

Pašalić has signed a contract until 2027 with Orlando able to extend by a further year.
