Minnesota United forward Teemu Pukki has returned to his native Finland, officially completing a transfer to HJK Helsinki for an undisclosed fee.

The striker made 43 appearances for the MLS side since arriving in 2023, scoring 14 goals and providing four assists across all competitions.

“I want to thank the club and the fans for the memories. Thank you to the club for giving me the opportunity to go back to Finland and HJK,” said Pukki. “I wish to the club and everyone around it all the best in the future.”

The former Norwich City man is Finland’s all-time international goalscorer, having scored 42 goals in 127 appearances since his debut in 2009
