Uncrowned has UFC Edmonton results for the Brandon Moreno vs. Amir Albazi fight card on Saturday at the Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Former two-time UFC flyweight champion Moreno makes his return from a nine-month layoff to face Albazi in the night’s five-round main event.
Moreno (21-8-2) rides into the contest hoping to snap a two-fight losing streak after falling short at the hands of current UFC champion Alexandre Pantoja and Brandon Royval in his most recent outings. Albazi (17-1) looks to stay perfect in the UFC after racking up five straight wins to kick off his promotional run, however injuries have kept him out of action since a June 2023 split decision win over Kai Kara-France.
In the co-main event, top UFC flyweight contender Erin Blanchfield takes on former two-time UFC strawweight champion Rose Namajunas in a pivotal five-round bout at 125 pounds. Generally hailed as a future UFC champion, Blanchfield (12-2) saw her undefeated Octagon run smash into a brick wall in May courtesy of Manon Fiorot. Namajunas (13-6) has won back-to-back bouts in her new weight class after also falling victim to Fiorot in her flyweight debut.
UFC Edmonton kicks off at 5 p.m. ET on ESPN+. The main card begins at 8 p.m. ET, also on ESPN+.
