After a long and busy tennis season, 128 men and 128 women will compete in the US Open Qualifying Tournament in hopes of earning their place in the fourth and final Grand Slam tournament of the season.
In the qualifying tournament, 16 spots are up for grabs in the US Open singles draws, and a mix of tennis veterans and young players will compete.
On the men’s side, three-time major singles champion, including 2016 US Open victor Stan Wawrinka, will compete in qualifying. Wawrinka hasn’t participated in qualifying at any major tournament since 2005.
American Mackenzie McDonald is looking to make his seventh career main draw appearance at the US Open. Also, Milos Raonic, the former world No. 3 and 2016 Wimbledon finalist, will look to advance to the main draw.
On the women’s side, 2019 US Open champion Bianca Andreescu is hoping to get back to the main draw after a nine-month absence due to an injury.
Alycia Parks, who reached a career-high ranking of No. 40 last August, matched Venus Williams for the fastest women’s serve on record at the 2021 US Open and is seeking another main draw entry.

- Dates: Monday, Aug. 19 – Thursday, Aug. 22
The qualifying tournament starts on Aug. 19 and finishes on Aug. 22.
US Open qualifying TV channel
All four days of the 2024 women’s and men’s US Open Qualifying Tournament will air on ESPNEWS and, for the first time ever, on ESPN2.
Viewers can also stream the matches on ESPN+ and Fubo, which is currently offering a free trial. ESPN+ will stream matches on all 14 courts for the first and second qualifying rounds and on 12 courts for the final round.
