The NASCAR Cup Series continues its Olympic break this weekend but will return to the race track next Sunday for the Cook Out 400 at Richmond Raceway.

NASCAR got a much-needed break for all three national series, starting after the July 21 race at Indianapolis coinciding with the start of the Paris Summer Olympic Games.

NBC and its related networks, including USA Network, CNBC and Peacock, have provided daily coverage of the Olympics from the early morning through prime-time encore showings of key events in prime time.

The Cup Series has four regular-season races remaining, with four completely different tracks. Richmond is a short track, while Michigan is a 2-mile oval. Daytona is its own drafting beast, and the Southern 500 at Darlington will be a marathon at the egg-shaped oval.
