While much of the buzz surrounding the Big 12 emanates from the interworkings of naming rights and possible billion-dollar business moves, the recruiting game presses on for the 16 schools that now call the Power Five conference home.

Like the new-look Big Ten, the shifting and switching from former Pac-12 schools has created one of the more expansive conferences that covers ground from the West Coast to Florida to West Virginia to the Rocky Mountains.

Competitive football programs still remain, too, which only adds to the challenges of landing top commits from around the country.

The class of 2025 highlights that scenario, with the current recruiting rankings in the 247Sports composite probably surprising more than a few fans—especially those in Boulder, Colorado.
