It’s official! A’ja Wilson is receiving her long-overdue Nike signature sneaker: the A’One.

The news comes roughly a week after the announcement that Caitlin Clark will receive a signature shoe from Nike, which caused an uproar amongst many fans who argued Wilson had been long deserving of such an honor. That is no longer the case, as Wilson is the first Black woman to have a Nike signature sneaker since Sheryl Swoopes’ Air Swoopes debuted in 1995.

While the news is exciting, we still haven’t been supplied much information outside of the announcement itself.

Nike has dropped some easter eggs across the web, including a special message if you visit www.ofcourseshehasashoe.com. For now, this is about all the world knows about these special kicks, but expect more information and teasers as 2025 approaches.
