Caitlin Clark and Iowa are set to take on Nebraska with the Big Ten Championship on the line Sunday.
The Hawkeyes have cruised through the Big Ten Tournament to this point, defeating Penn State by 33 points and Michigan by 27 points to reach the championship stage.
Clark was as dominant as advertised in the semifinals, working her magic with 28 points and 15 assists to march Iowa to the title game. Nebraska is ready for the impossible challenge of containing Clark, though.
The Cornhuskers are one of three Big Ten teams to defeat the Hawkeyes this season. On Feb. 11, Nebraska came away with a narrow 82-79 win over Iowa in Lincoln.
Clark still registered a near-triple-double with 31 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds, but the Cornhuskers outscored the Hawkeyes 27-10 in the fourth quarter to pull off a comeback win.

1:42 p.m.: Unreal shot by Clark, who creates an inch of space via crossover before launching a three into the endless abyss of the net. Iowa takes the lead! Clark has 17 in the second and 21 for the game. She’s really found a rhythm this period.

End of third quarter: Nebraska 58, Iowa 58
1:32 p.m.: Clark sinks from distance! But then Markowski places one in to respond! Nebraska retake the advantage!
1:28 p.m.: Markowski nets from short-range as the Huskers snap their four-minute dry spell…and take the lead.
1:23 p.m.: Shelley taking serious pride in her matchup against Clark. However, the Iowa star finally found space through the mire and flicked one up and in to give Iowa its first lead.

1:19 p.m.: Stuelke continues to flex her offensive might in the paint. Bypassed a marker and floated a left-handed effort into the basket to bring the Hawkeyes within one.
1:16 p.m.: Hannah Stuelke is Iowa’s standout today. The lithe combo forward is leading the way for the Hawkeyes with 15 points. Given Clark’s inefficiency, you could argue she’s keeping Iowa in the game.
1:12 p.m.: Shelley answers Clark’s three-point bomb with one of her own! Nebraska will need her rhythmic shooting to continue as Iowa continues to battle back!
End of second quarter: Nebraska 46, Iowa 35
12:51 p.m.: Shelley rainbows one in from distance the beat the buzzer! The Cornhuskers are making their presence felt as the first half comes to a close. Clark has just four points in this one. It’ll be hard for Iowa to pick up this one without an upswing in her scoring.

12:48 p.m.: With Clark out the game, Iowa’s offense has stagnated. Nebraska continues to operate efficiently, with Potts and Markowski proving successful dance partners on the block. They have 12 and eight points, respectively, as well as 15 combined rebounds.
12:44 p.m.: Dominant showing on the glass by Nebraska. Potts reeled in another errant Markowski effort to push the Huskers’ lead to seven.
12:41 p.m.: But the Huskers answer back! Logan Nissley rattles one in from deep after corralling Kendall Coley’s pass off a live-ball turnover.

12:37 p.m.: Clark has been more distributor in this one. She’s got two points on 1-of-9 shooting today. But she does have six assists thus far. You’ve got to imagine that Lisa Bluder is happy the game is so close with Clark struggling from the field like she is.
12:34 p.m.: What a scoop and score by Callin Hake! Absorbed the contact before finishing with a sumptuous right-handed flick.
End of first quarter: Nebraska 23, Iowa 17
12:26 p.m: Markowski is a problem in the paint. She’s already amassed three offensive boards in this one. Couple that with a refined post game — Markowski just flicked a right-handed hook into the net — and it’s clear that Nebraska’s double-double machine could be a thorn in Iowa’s championship hopes.
12:23 p.m.: It’s been a slow start for Clark, who found the target for the first time in seven attempts after blowing beyond Markowski for a layup. Hawkeyes desperately need her to find her rhythm if they have any chance of hoisting hardware today.
12:21 p.m.: Shelley flares behind a screen, fires from three and hits. She’s starting to percolate as the Huskers make their presence felt. They have a double-digit lead.

12:16 p.m.: Nebraska answered back with a vengeance. Clark is 0-of-5 to start today’s contest, felled by the Cornhuskers’ relentless pursuit on closeouts. Meanwhile, Markowski and Jaz Shelley have whetted the nylon to pace Nebraska, who leads 13-5 as we strut towards the end of Q1.
