The Steelers have had the Colts’ number for a while now.

Pittsburgh has won eight straight games in the series; Indianapolis’ last win came in 2015 when Peyton Manning still wore the horseshoe.

Now would be a good time to break that streak. Both teams sit just inside the playoff picture, being two of six AFC teams with a 7-6 record. A win for either would go a long way.

With the way things are going right now, it feels unlikely for the Steelers to win inside Lucas Oil Stadium. Kenny Pickett is still out, so the ball is in Mitch Trubisky’s hands. He got better throughout the loss to New England, but by then it was too late. The Steelers dropped their second straight game, causing more concern for Mike Tomlin.

The Colts, too, suffered a deflating loss last week to the Bengals, breaking their four-game win streak. They’ll need to bounce back, and quick, to move out of the seventh and final AFC playoff spot. Though things are looking shaky for Pittsburgh, it has the rest advantage over Indianapolis, having played Thursday rather than Sunday.

6:00 p.m. TOUCHDOWN – Montgomery makes up for his drop with a 14-yard touchdown! The Colts take a narrow lead with 22 seconds until halftime.

5:47 p.m. – They go for it on 4th and goal, but Minshew to DJ Montgomery is incomplete in the end zone. The Colts fail to tie the game with only three minuets until halftime.

5:44 p.m. – It appeared to be a touchdown for Tyler Goodson, but after review his knee is down short of the end zone. The Colts take over at 3rd and goal.

5:32 p.m. PERSONAL FOUL – Michael Pittman takes a hard hit by Damontae Kazee and exits the game to be evaluated. It’s an unnecessary roughness call on Kazee, who’s ejected from the game.

5:27 p.m. INTERCEPTION – Nick Cross picks off Trubisky on the deep shot! Indianapolis takes over at its own 29. Its the 19th straight game with a takeaway for the Colts.

5:19 p.m. TOUCHDOWN – Minshew to Moss is good for the Colts’ first touchdown! They trail by six with 11:21 left in the second.

5:17 p.m. – Indianapolis is inside the 10 with the Minshew lob over defenders.

5:10 p.m. TOUCHDOWN – Too easy for Pittsburgh. Trubisky finds Diontae Johnson down the left for a 4-yard score. The Steelers take a double-digit lead with 14:07 on the clock in the second quarter.

5:05 p.m. – Blocked punt, blocked punt! Connor Heyward denies the Colts’ punter, and the ball bounces toward the Indianapolis end zone. After review, the ball is ruled down at the 1-yard line.

4:55 p.m. TOUCHDOWN – After review, it’s a Steelers score! Trubisky kept on 4th and 1 and was ruled short of the goal line, but the ball popped out and was recovered for a score by Najee Harris. The QB was originally ruled down, but after review, the call is reversed for a Trubisky touchdown. Chris Boswell’s extra point is no good.

4:51 p.m. – George Pickens picks up his first catch, and the Steelers are in striking distance at Indianapolis’s 23.

4:50 p.m. – Trubisky converts for Pittsburgh’s first first down of the game. He finds Jaylen Warren on a 4-yard shot up the middle.

4:46 p.m. – We have our first scoring attempt of the game, but it’s far from good. Matt Gay’s 56-yard field goal attempt is wide left, ending the Colts’ drive with no points on the board.

4:45 p.m. – Watt else do you expect from the linebacker?

4:37 p.m. – Sacked! Mitch Trubisky goes down on the Steelers’ second play of the game.

4:28 p.m. – TJ Watt warming up with the black visor again. He wore it in-game last week to prevent light sensitivity after suffering a concussion.

3:56 p.m. – The Colts don their 1956 throwback uniforms for the Saturday showdown.

3:16 p.m. – The teams have released their inactive players for tonight’s matchup.
