Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Bryan Reynolds has demanded a trade with contract extension talks stalling out. The Texas Rangers have checked in with the Pirates according to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic.

Reynolds has three years left of club control before becoming a free agent and had a 6 WAR season in his first All-Star appearance in 2021.

Jack Leiter is coming off a rough professional debut but is he still highly thought of enough to headline a package for Reynolds? Ezequiel Duran, Luisangel Acuna and Aaron Zavala being included in the deal would be a massive cost, but how much of an upgrade would Bryan Reynolds provide?
