‘Get out of here!’ – Shapovalov incensed by fan during semi-final loss

Andrey Rublev recovered from losing the opening set to beat Canadian Denis Shapovalov 4-6 6-3 6-4 on Saturday (17th October) to reach the final of the St Petersburg Open.

In a match that has huge implications for the qualification race for the ATP end of season finals in London, Shapovalov was left frustrated by some jeering from the crowd.

Shapovalov confronted a fan demanding him to be kicked out as he refused to continue to play.

Shapovalov who’s parents are Russian could be heard swearing in Russian.
